New Year eve Chill Out cum Friendship Gathering

Are you still thinking of how to spend a wonderful time on New Year Eve. Think no further... check this out...

A friend, Wilfred, and myself will be organising a New Year eve Chill Out cum Friends Gathering on 31 December 2008 (7.30pm till 1am). It will be at Cock's Feather Bar, Far East Square, 44-45 Pekin Street, #01-01, Singapore 048774. Nearest MRT : Raffle Place MRT station.

To warm everyone up for the evening, Wilfred will be conducting some ice breaker games. The purpose of these games is to help all the Singles Delight and Singles Hub friends socialise, network and meet new friends.

Those who are not in a rush to go home are invited to do "Count Down" to the New Year 2009 with us.

Tea Appreciation cum Group Speed Dating event for singles

I will be organising a Tea Appreciation cum Group Speed Dating event on 14 December 2008 (Sunday). This event is specially for singles who would like to meet new friends of the opposite gender.

In addition to the Group Speed Dating session, there will be a short Tea Art Demonstration to teach participants how to brew a good cup of Chinese tea.

Who will be invited to this singles event ?

Members from both Singles Delight (www.singlesdelight.com) and Singles Hub (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/singleshub) will be invited.

You need not be a member of Singles Delight and / or Singles Hub to join this event. However, please note that this event is strictly for SINGLES ONLY.

How the Group Speed Dating will be conducted :

This is a modified version of Speed Dating.

For this event, it will be conducted in group of 8 participants (4 guys and 4 ladies). Each group of participants will be given about 20 minutes to have quick chat (with those of opposite gender). When the time is up, the 4 guys in one group will move to meet the ladies of another group.

The objective of this game is to create an opportunity for the participant to meet and introduce themselves to all the participants of the opposite gender. It is especially useful to participant who are shy to approach the opposite gender alone.

No results will be complied for this speed dating event. Participants are allow to exchange their contacts during the session.
